Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo is reported to have accepted an offer to join Frank Lampard at New York City FC. Sources suggest the 36-year-old would only consider leaving the Serie A giants if they were successful in Saturday's Champions League final against Barcelona.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, however, Pirlo has already accepted a proposal from New York City having spoken to the club's chief executive, Ferran Soriano.
