It's vital to stick together says Chelsea's Ivanovic

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic says now is the most vital time for the club to stick closely together.

The Blues lost 3-1 to Napoli in their Champions League Round of 16 first leg last night to make it five matches in all competitions without a win and Ivanovic is well aware that the West Londoners are in a very precarious situation that requires unity.

"Yes. This is one of the most important moments and we all know that," he said.

"We have to be together with each other and it can help us pass this moment."

Ivanovic added: "These things are always coming out when you're losing. What we can all do together is still believe and try to do the right things.

"I don't know what the manager is saying, but it is more about what is happening with Chelsea. That is more important than the relationship between the manager and players.

"The manager is doing his job by deciding who plays and we, as players, have to do our job. I think every player thinks like that and tries to make things better."
