Wellington Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert believes things are starting to turn for the better for his team. After a draw and a win in their last two games, the Phoenix could go into Sunday's fixture against Sydney FC with an unchanged line-up, as Herbert eyes stability within the playing squad.
He did, however, admit that some areas needed improvement.
"There will be a fair degree of consistency but there might be one or two areas where we consider some changes," he said.
"I'm not saying we will make changes but, in the fullback position, I want to see things better," Herbert elaborated.
"I think there is pressure on them both (full-backs Tony Lochhead and Manny Muscat).
"We need them to be linking up in midfield and joining in, certainly with players like [Paul] Ifill and [Leo] Bertos."
Herbert was confident that the Phoenix would start to click very soon.
"We haven't seen it as much but we certainly started to see it in Brisbane. The signs are coming," he concluded.
