Manchester City goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson is playing for his future at Eastlands.
The Sweden goalkeeper faces an uncertain future after a frustrating start to the season, with reports that City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is ready to offload him.
But Tord Grip, Eriksson's right-hand man, said: "It is absolutely not true that we are looking to sell Andreas.
"If Andreas shows his best form in Sweden's next two games, it is very possible he will get a chance soon."
