Isaksson attitude impressing Man City coaching staff

Manchester City reserves coach Ian Miller has praised the attitude of Swedish goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson after this week's victory over Everton.

Miller told City's website: "We had eight experienced first team players out, and in the first half we were excellent. Our passing and movement were of the highest order, and we should have had a couple more.

"The game got a bit stretched as it wore on, and probably our best player in the second half was our goalkeeper. Andreas was excellent, he made four or five top-class saves.

"What you ask of senior professionals in the reserves is a good attitude, and to be fair to them they all gave their best.

"The management staff were all watching, so I just told them to make an impression, which they certainly did."
