Republic of Ireland No2 Marco Tardelli is happy to have Chelsea midfielder Conor Clifford as part of their squad.

Tardelli acknowledged that he himself may not be around himself for the Euro 2016 campaign.

But on Clifford, he said: "I don't know if I will be here.

"But I think it's better for the FAI that we look for the future. I saw Clifford in training today and I think he is very good for the future."
