The 24 year old said he is "very excited" to have signed a three year deal with Osasuna, and play in what he considers to be "one of the best leagues in the world".
The former Al-Sharjah star claimed that since his compatriot Javad Nekounam arrived at Osasuna in 2006 the club have "become very popular in Iran".
"Neko has always spoken to me very highly about the club, of the dressing room, and the fans," said the player, who believes that "for Nekounam to be here is a great help".
