Ipswich Town striker Jon Stead has rejected a move to PremiershipBlackpool.
The Daily Mail says the newly-promoted Tangerines have refused to match the £12,000-a-week wages that Stead is on at Portman Road.
Earlier in the week Stead, a former England Under 21 cap who has top-flight experience with Blackburn, Sunderland and Sheffield United, rejected a move to Bristol City, again for financial reasons.
Unless he receives an acceptable offer Stead is prepared to sit tight until his contract expires at the end of the season.
