Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane is trying to pull off a major coup by bringing in highly-rated Arsenal youngster Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on loan.
The 19-year old scored twice in the Gunners' reserves 4-1 win over Everton last week and was watched by Ipswich scout Steve McCall.
Reports suggests that Keane is a fan of the England youth international who has already been out on loan in recent times, enjoying stints with Blackpool and Doncaster Rovers last season.
QPR are also believed to be interested in Emmanuel-Thomas but it seems as though Keane is determined to get him across to Portman Road in January.
