Ipswich goalkeeper Bartosz Bilakowski admits Burnley wanted to sign him over the summer.

Bilakowski has told Polish broadcaster TVP Sport that a move to Turf Moor was 'really close', only for the Clarets and Ipswich to fail to agree a fee.

He said: "It was really close, but the clubs did not get along.

"On the one hand: I still dream to be there. On the other hand: I have no regrets because I'm in Ipswich Town.

"Maybe we'll get promoted? Such a scenario would be best."
