Ipswich Town are chasing Liverpool fullback Ryan McLaughlin.

The Daily Star Sunday says the Northern Irishman, 20. has yet to make a senior appearance for the Reds but enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Barnsley last season.

Ipswich expect to lose full-back Tyrone Mings to either Arsenal or Crystal Palace and boss Mick McCarthy may lure McLaughlin away from Anfield after trailing him in last summer.
