Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has spoken about one of the club's loan players this week.

McKenna confirmed that left-back Brandon Williams has still not returned to the club after going back to Manchester United last month.

Williams headed back to Old Trafford for a medical assessment, but ex-United first team coach McKenna says the defender has not been cleared to play yet.

McKenna told reporters: "He's still with United."

Williams, who is now 23, had been in solid form earlier this season, starting eight games in the Championship.

He also came off the bench seven times, while he played in two League Cup matches from the start.
