AC Milan coach Pippo Inzaghi's job is again on the line going into their next game with Cesena.
A battling draw with Empoli left Milan president Silvio Berlusconi unimpressed and Gazzetta dello Sport says should Cesena pull off a shock win, Inzaghi will be immediately sacked. Long time assistant coach Mauro Tassotti is waiting in the wings to take charge in a caretaker role.
Even if Inzaghi was to make it to the end of the season, the rookie coach will be fortunate to avoid the sack.
There's now a feeling inside the boardroom that Inzaghi has lost the squad's confidence, with his shaky status now working against him and his authority amongst the playing group.
