Aberdeen manager Craig Brown has revealed that the club will soon sign Jonny Hayes from Inverness Caledonian Thistle but has ruled out a move for Byron Moore.

The 23-year old Crewe Alexandra winger has been linked with a summer move to the Dons but Brown indicated that would not happen whilst confirming Hayes will join from Caley soon.

"Byron Moore is a new name to me," he told The Sentinel.

"We have done our best to get Hayes, and it is our understanding he will join us after his summer break."
