Inverness Caley Thistle boss Craig Brewster is targeting a new signing after Markus Paatelainen was released from his contract at the club. Paatelainen had not long recovered from an Achilles injury when he suffered cruciate ligament damage in May. Now that the midfielder has decided to return to his native Finland in order to complete his recovery, Brewster believes he must strengthen the squad.

He said: "It guarantees that I will bring in an extra body in January as we are definitely thin on the ground for players, that is certainly something we have to look at."
