Inter Milan have expressed interest in Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti.

Sport says the centre back has a high salary and could be a profitable sale.

Barca want Lautaro Martinez from Inter and it seems the Italians may be interested in a trade. They like Umtiti, but want him to show his willingness to join before they start the final negotiations.

Barca want to trade two players and cash for Lautaro, their main summer target, so to avoid paying his 111 million euro release fee.

The 'Umtiti option' gained strength in the past week. Barca wanted to sell him for 50m euros but received no offers. They are valuing him at 30m euros in the potential Lautaro deal.
