Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi says Zinedine Zidane should apologise for their 2006 World Cup flare up.
Zidane told L'Equipe that he would "never apologise" for the head-butt in the 2006 World Cup Final that marked the last moment of his professional career.
"I think Zidane should first of all apologise to himself, because it's his career he ruined and not mine," commented the Inter defender.
Materazzi also responded to former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi after the controversy over the 2002 Scudetto race.
"I always said that we threw it away with the last game of the season against Lazio, but I also said there were some things before that which weren't too clear."
