Inter Milan are ready to rejoin the battle for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.
Inter president Massimo Moratti admitted last week that Liverpool's asking price for the Argentina captain was too rich.
However, Sky Sports Italia says should Inter sell Manchester City target Mario Balotelli, they will use the cash raised to return to the negotiating table for Mascherano.
The midfielder is also wanted by Barcelona.
