Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko could yet remain in Italy even if AC Milan dump him.
Milan are expected to send Bakayoko back to parent club Chelsea at the end of the season after a row with coach Rino Gattuso.
However, the midfielder could yet be offered a return to Serie A by Inter Milan.
Sportmediaset reports Inter GM Beppe Marotta is close to the player's Italian agent Federico Pastorello.
Milan have a €35m option to buy the Frenchman this summer, but they're unlikely to trigger it on economic and disciplinary grounds.
