Inter Milan are closing on a deal for Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri. The Switzerland international is ready to join Inter ahead of offers from Liverpool and Everton, says Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are offering €12 million for Shaqiri - three million less than Liverpool - but Shaqiri favours moving to Italy.

Inter have put a three-year contract package to Shaqiri's camp worth €6 million.

Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is slated to meet with Inter chief Piero Ausilio to discuss Shaqiri on Wednesday.
