Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has paid tribute to club vice-president Javier Zanetti.

Lautaro appreciates the support of the former Inter and Argentina star.

He declared: "Javier is a very important person for Inter but also for us because he gives us all his experience. He did it with me when I arrived in Italy. I will always be grateful to him because whenever I needed something, he always tried to help me. He always listens to me and asks me how I am or gives me a hand with whatever I need.

"He is always there to make sure I am comfortable both inside and outside the club.

"Most of all he helped me with the language when I arrived, but he also explained to me what the club means and how to train here. He was very important in these aspects, so I will always be grateful to him because he helped me a lot upon my arrival."
