Eto'o has fallen out with manager Gian Piero Gasperini and is desperate to move to Manchester City.
The Cameroon striker has held crisis talks with owner Massimo Moratti and wants to leave as soon as possible.
Eto'o insists he wants to prove he can be a big hit in England.
He said last month: "I have received some very interesting offers from England and during my month's holiday I will look at the situation.
"I am 30, which is the perfect time for me to sign my last big deal. But the money is not the key for me."
