Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti would love to see the signing of Genoa striker Diego Milito.

"We are taking about a fantastic striker and he has proved that everywhere, both in Spain and Italy," said the Nerazzurri midfielder.

"He returned to Italy and is doing very well. I'm happy for him, because I know him pretty well and realise how much he wants to prove himself.

"He knows that, if he arrives at Inter, he will be given a warm welcome by everyone, not just the Argentineans, because he is a good lad."
