Inter Milan chief Marco Fassone insists there's no concern with UEFA's Financial Fair Play laws.
It's been claimed Inter could be hit with a €7 million fine for breaching regulations.
"Are we worried by the UEFA investigation?" Fassone said.
"Not particularly. We're waiting for a communication from UEFA, then we'll evaluate.
"I wouldn't make a connection between the situations of Inter and Roma, and the state of calcio in general. Inter and Roma, as you know, are under UEFA investigation for financial statements in the last three years, and will make their own way.
"The condition of Italian football is more general, and the situation is more complicated to deal with."
