Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has told coach Jose Mourinho he must sell before he buys this month.
Mourinho has major concerns over his midfield after their thumping by Atalanta on Sunday, but a furious Moratti is fed-up with the lack of progress from their summer signings, says Corriere della Sera.
Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler is wanted by Mourinho, but Moratti has informed his coach he must raise funds himself to buy the Switzerland international.
Olivier Dacourt could be sold to Bologna, while Luis Jimenez also may be offloaded to make room for Inler.
