Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti says Samuel Eto'o will not be going to Manchester City.
The Cameroon ace has been linked with City.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "Manchester City's bid for Eto'o? I read about it, but I also read that Inter Milan are going to Spain to buy players and they are not true.
"It doesn't hurt that someone wants to buy our players, but for the amounts being suggested there is no chance.
"I plan to keep our champions. I hope that there is no need to make sacrifices, even if all Italian clubs have to be careful now financially."
