Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is planning talks with Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.
New Inter coach Rafa Benitez has requested the Argentina captain's signing and Moratti is willing to oblige.
Sky Italia says Moratti has already made contact with Mascherano's minders and scheduled a meeting for next week.
The midfielder has confessed in recent days that he is learning Italian.
