Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti says coach Andrea Stramaccioni deserves recognition in his own right.

Moratti declared: "Stramaccioni does not need to be compared to Jose Mourinho - he is good and that's all you need to say.

"I knew for three days that he was going to use the trident. Now I am happy, as a season that seemed to be a transitional one is now getting interesting. Let's wait before talking about targeting the Scudetto, though."
