Inter Milan are being linked with a shock move for Malmo FF striker Markus Rosenberg.

Now 32, Rosenberg has been watched by Inter scouts this season and is under consideration as a stop-gap signing for the Nerazzurri, says Aftonbladet.

Asked about the rumours, Rosenberg's agent, Martin Dahlin, would only offer, "No comment."

Sweden international Rosenberg joined Malmo earlier this year after two years with West Bromwich Albion.

He also has experience in Germany and Spain, but has never played in Serie A.
