Inter Milan have identified Torino defender Matteo Darmian as a priority signing for the January market.
Corriere dello Sport says Inter GM Piero Ausilio sees the Italy international as an ideal addition to coach Walter Mazzarri's squad and is preparing an offer for Toro to consider.
Darmian, 26, came through the youth system at AC Milan and has seen his career explode since joining Torino.
Capable of playing on both flanks, Darmian is rated at €12 million by Toro.
Ausilio hopes to drive down the cash component by including Ruben Botta, currently on-loan with Chievo, and Lorenzo Crisetig, now with Cagliari, in part exchange.
