Inter Milan have made contact with Juventus for midfielder Claudio Marchisio. Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter are now turning to Marchisio after being frustrated in talks with Liverpool for Javier Mascherano.
Inter are willing to offer Juve defender Nicolas Burdisso plus €15 million for Italy midfielder Marchisio.
Marchisio has turned down Juve's new contract offer of €2.5 million-a-year - he is seeking an extra €1 million-a-year to re-sign.
