Inter Milan move for Chelsea Bosman prospect Ballack

Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack is a Bosman target for Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho.

The Daily Mail says Ballack looks to be heading for a reunion with Mourinho after admitting Roman Abramovich has put the block on contract talks with several 'star names' at Stamford Bridge.

The Germany skipper senses his Chelsea days are numbered after a hardline stance by Abramovich that has also cast a shadow over the futures of Nicolas Anelka, Joe Cole and Deco.

Snapped up on a free transfer from Bayern Munich in May, 2006, Ballack is considering a second spell with Mourinho after being told the former Chelsea manager wants to take him to Inter Milan at the end of the season.

"There are no contract talks with Abramovich for me now, and there are other stars at Chelsea who are in the same situation," he said.

"Despite that, I am feeling very relaxed about my situation. I want to carry on playing at the highest possible level for another two years. I feel I can do it."
