Inter Milan midfielder Arturo Vidal insists they're title contenders.

The Nerazzurri have seven Serie A wins in a row and are one point behind table leaders Milan.

“I am not afraid to pronounce the world Scudetto, I've won many trophies in Germany and in Spain. Inter need to work every day, focus on one game at a time. We'll see if we'll be good enough to win the title," the Chilean midfielder told Sky Sport.

“Last year Inter came close to winning the Scudetto. They had a young team that worked hard, but they made mistakes on decisive moments.

“For this reason, we have to be careful this season, really focused. It's a difficult time but we have to pull out all the maximum and make fewer mistakes than last year to achieve our goal, which is to win the Scudetto."
