Inter Milan legend Sandro Mazzola has questioned the signing of Nemanja Vidic. The former Manchester United captain has struggled to settle since his summer arrival.

Mazzola told TMW: "First of all I think he does not feel comfortable in a defensive three and this is an important factor.

"The real question, however, is another: 'Why did not United re-sign him?'.

"I believe this is enough to get a clear answer on the Serbian central defender."
