Inter Milan goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is pleased with his loan move to Palermo.
Viviano will spend the rest of the season in Sicily after the Rosanero bought Genoa's 50 per cent share in him for 5m.
"I'm enthusiastic about the opportunity which President Maurizio Zamparini has given me," he told the club's website.
"I also thank the people of this city for the affection that they have shown me," he continued as he arrived in Sicily for his medical checks.
"I'm here to put my qualities at the disposal of the team. I'm ready to spit blood for this shirt."
