Inter Milan and Juventus are ready to pounce as PSV Eindhoven put Ibrahim Afellay up for sale.
Afellay' contract expires in June 2011 and the club has now given up on getting an extension, so must sell in January to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
"PSV are ready to evaluate all possible options for the sale of the player, because we reached the conclusion that, for numerous different reasons, it is unrealistic to extend his contract," read a statement.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested, but in Serie A Inter and Juventus are leading the race for the 24-year-old.
