Inter Milan interested in Borini if Liverpool drop asking price

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has indicated that the club could be interested in Fabio Borini if he became more affordable.

The Nerazzurri were keen on the Liverpool striker during the summer transfer window but were not too eager to pay the reported £12million that the Reds were asking for.

Ausilio indicated to Tuttosport that Inter were certainly looking at Borini at some point and could again become interested if his price happens to drop.

"I like Borini," Ausilio said. "But Liverpool are asking too much."

Former Chelsea and Swansea City attacker, who spent last season on loan with Sunderland, joined Liverpool from Roma in July 2012 and has scored two goals in 23 appearances for the Anfield club.
