Inter Milan hero Mario Corso hopes fans give Ricky Alvarez time to make his mark with the club.

Alvarez was outstanding on the weekend in victory over Cagliari.

Asked about comparisons with the Argie, Corso told TMW: "Do I really see myself in Alvarez? No, I don't recognise the comparison.

"It's normal that people make comparisons. But Alvarez needs to make his own way."
