Inter Milan hero Julio Cruz says departing LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic should consider a move to Argentina.

AC Milan are regarded as favourites to land the Swede.

But Cruz said of his former teammate: "Milan? Bologna? In Argentina they talk about him for Boca...

"But if he asked me I would tell him something different.

"I have to tell him that if he had to choose the Argentine championship, well, don't go to the wrong side: because if he wants to win he must go to River Plate..."

Interestingly, Cruz also told Gazzetta dello Sport: "There is always Juan Manuel, my son: he often scores goals, they wanted to make him a €20m buyout clause and in the end we went down to 10. In a little while you will also hear about him: I must admit, he's good."

Juan Manuel, 20, signed pro terms with Banfield in July.
