Inter Milan face competition from Middle East giants Al Ahli to tie down Lucio to a new contract.
With less than a year to run on his current deal, Inter are anxious about securing Lucio to a new agreement, particularly with his Copa America campaign now over.
However, the Brazil defender has also been contacted by Al Ahli, which are prepared to offer him a lucrative contract to move into Asian football.
Al Ahli see Lucio as a replacement for Fabio Cannavaro, who retired this summer after being released last season.
