Jose Mourinho will reportedly look to make Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo one of his first signings should he be appointed Manchester United manager this summer.

The Sun is reporting Mourinho rates the Colombian centre-back highly, but will face stiff competition for the 23-year-old's services from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

It is understood Murillo will be available for as little a £14million this summer, making him a bargain in Mourinho's eyes.

Mourinho has been the subject of persistent rumours suggesting he will take over from current Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal at the end of the current Premier League campaign.

The former Chelsea manager will reportedly be given in the vicinity of £250million to spend on transfers this offseason, should he be appointed to the role.
