Inter Milan are confident of smooth negotiations with Cardiff City for Gary Medel.
SportItalia says Inter have fielded no demand from Cardiff for big money for the Chile midfielder. The Bluebirds accept they cannot hold onto Medel following their relegation.
Inter are confident of sealing a 12-month loan deal worth €2 million with the option to sign Medel permanently for around €6 million.
For his part, Medel is eager for the deal to be done.
