Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni was satisfied with their 1-1 draw with Genoa.
The Nerazzurri surprisingly went behind at San Siro to troubled Genoa, but Esteban Cambiasso snatched a late equaliser for the 1-1 result.
"We knew this was a difficult time with many problems, including some that aren't hitting the headlines," said the Coach.
"If the result might not seem positive, I still want to compliment the lads. Despite going behind to a buttoned-down team, we are left with regret at not winning the game.
"Clearly, the final chance with Marko Livaja in front of an open goal was incredible, but that's where we are at right now. The Christmas break comes at the right moment."
