Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi defended Nicolo Barella after victory over Torino.
Just days after being caught up in Italy's betting investigation, the midfielder was hooked at halftime of yesterday's 3-0 win.
However, Inzaghi insists the decision wasn't based on form.
He later explained: "I liked him.
"He didn't deserve the yellow card, probably without a yellow card he wouldn't have come off. I see him calm, then in the 0-0 draw against Toro when he was booked I had to make a choice.
"But he's calm and he worked well."
