Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was pleased with last night's 2-0 win at Cagliari.
Denzel Dumfries and Lautaro Martinez struck the goals in Sardinia.
Inzaghi said: "The lads were very good. I asked for a serious, focused match and we immediately approached it in the best possible way against a team that had done very well at the debut. I am very satisfied.
"We come from a good preseason, the guys work very well every day and that's the important thing. We are satisfied with the two victories, but we know that the path is long and demanding.
"We had a very good non-possession phase, playing centrally from the flanks in possession. I liked the lads a lot."
Inzaghi is pleased with his attack, as Lautaro and Marcus Thuram build their partnership.
He added: "The two of them were good and Arna too when he came on, as well as against Monza. They had an excellent game and they must continue to work in this way. We are waiting for Sanchez who has to perfect his condition, but he has worked very well up to now."
