Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti doesn't believe Massimo Moratti is seeking to buy back the club.
Zanetti says he was 'surprised' by the rumours, as Moratti already owns a 29.5 per cent stake.
"We're forging a path with President Thohir, and the intention is to continue," Zanetti told Sky Italia.
"We're having some difficulties, but that shouldn't get in the way of the ultimate goal which is to take Inter to the highest possible level.
"The news I read about Moratti surprised me, because Moratti is already inside.
"He'll always be part of Inter, it's in his DNA, just like Thohir and all of us."
