Inter Milan are eyeing Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The Sunday Mirror says Inter have been monitoring his situation as he enters the final year of his contract at the Britannia Stadium and have been buoyed by comments from the goalkeeper that suggest he may not stay with the Potters.

Begovic, 27, will have talks with Stoke bosses over the summer to discuss whether their direction can match his ambitions.

Inter are preparing to sell Samir Handanovic this summer.
