Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has branded Italian football rivals as "too touchy". Mourinho angered many leading lights in the Italian game by claiming that certain Coaches aren't allowed to pick their own starting 11.

Cagliari boss Massimiliano Allegri labelled the Special One "pathetic" and several other experts have raged at his comments.

"Before they comment, people should read what I have said more carefully," Mourinho said on Sky Sport Italia.

"If they have looked at what the question is and my response then I will have to conclude that they are too touchy."
