Inter Milan boss Walter Mazzarri is happy to have kept hold of Fredy Guarin.
Guarin had been on the verge of a move this summer, but Zenit, Tottenham, Manchester United and Valencia all failed to agree terms.
"We start again from scratch. I know his qualities and he seemed fired up," said Mazzarri.
"This is the first day of Guarin's new career in the Inter jersey."
