Inter Milan coach Rafa Benitez wants to buy in January.

After victory over Cagliari, Benitez admitted his squad needed new signings.

He said: "We need to analyse two or three situations with director Marco Branca. I think we need to buy new players in January so we can be sharp right to the end of the season."

Inter's next test is in the Champions League against Tottenham.

"It is a difficult encounter, as Spurs are a strong and fast side."
